Other Applications
Since ancient times, incenses and fragrances have been
used to beautify homes and work spaces. Now, candles and incenses have given way to plug-in fragrance diffusers, and Vapore’s CFV powered air-fresheners represent the newest elegant, efficient, and environmentally friendly approach to fragrance diffusion for the home and office.
Traditional plug-in air-dispensers use heated wicks which require enormous amounts of electrical energy and use aroma formulas made with harmful solvents in order to invisibly diffuse a scent into the air. In contrast, Vapore’s CFV fragrance devices require little power, use no solvents or propellants considered harmful by the EPA, and emit clearly visible puffs of fragrance which show the consumer that the device is working.
The CFV fragrance dispenser improves upon other problems often encountered with other plug-in devices. In heated wick dispensers, scents typically segregate into their component parts, causing lighter oils to be released early in the life cycle of the bottle, and heavier scent components such as vanilla to be emitted later. Vapore’s CFV powered devices give a consistent, evenly mixed scent with every puff. Also, the CFV device is easily adjustable, allowing the consumer to choose the size and frequency of fragrance bursts.
• Produces a clear puff of evenly mixed fragrance.
• Unlike aerosol based room fresheners, Vapore’s CFV devices
leave no residue on carpets, furniture, or countertops.
• Safe: Vapore’s device uses fragrances which are free of
harmful solvents or propellants, unlike other fragrance
devices on the market.
• Energy saving: if every plug-in air freshener in North America
used Vapore’s CFV technology, 140 Megawatts of electricity
would be saved annually. Over our lifetime, CFV fragrance
dispensers actually pay for themselves through their reduced
home electricity usage.
• Environmentally friendly: likewise, if all the plug-in fragrance
devices were replaced by our device, over 1.2 million tons
of CO2 (carbon dioxide) yearly would be prevented from
polluting our atmosphere, and over 31 tons of mercury yearly
would not be dumped into the environment (emissions savings
from coal fired power plants).
