Vaporization is central to many products and processes, from camp stoves to microchip manufacturing. Traditional methods of vapor or aerosol generation are mechanically complex, bulky, use chemical propellants, are expensive, or all of the above. A Capillary Force Vaporizer (CFV) produces either vapor or fine aerosols with none of these shortcomings. Highly compact and energy efficient, powered only by heat with no moving parts, the creation of inexpensive vapor provides new-market opportunities for medical device, consumer product, drug delivery and advanced energy applications. Simply put, Vapore’s CFV vaproizes liquid better.

Vapore’s Technology
The patented Capillary Force Vaporizer (CFV) is a thin film, high surface area boiler that combines two natural phenomena—capillary force and phase transition—in an unexpectedly powerful device. By inducing phase transition in a capillary environment, the CFV imparts pressure onto the expanding gas and ejects it with surprising force.

Partnering With Vapore
Our company partners with a diverse array of customers in the medical device, drug delivery, consumer product, energy, and defense sectors, as well as with National Laboratories. We work in a team environment that also recognizes the benefits of turning independent thinkers loose to create the next generation of Vapore application engineering solutions. Vapore is currently accepting proposals for joint development projects with viable, funded candidates.

Vapore has already assisted PARI (medical device) and Cascade Designs (outdoor products) in their incorporation and product launch of CFV based products. We are currently working on a non-exclusive basis with leading medical device and consumer products marketers for personal humidification, fragrance dispensing and bio-decontamination applications.
